However, as continued to use the system, the &#8220;failure to wake&#8221; issue reoccurred. Further investigation yielded a new finding: <strong>whether waking succeeds or fails depends on the type of USB port (USB 2.0 vs. 3.0)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Based on that additional investigation and hands-on experience, this article explains in detail &#8220;the impact of different USB ports on sleep recovery.&#8221;<\/p>\n<div contenteditable=\"false\">\n<hr \/>\n<\/div>\n<h2>Recurrence of the Issue and Root Cause Investigation<\/h2>\n<p>After reviewing the USB root hub settings, the sleep recovery function remained stable for a while.
